Emily Cicchini
biography
Emily is resident playwright at The Pollyanna Theatre Company, where her work has been recognized by the B. Iden Payne Awards and the Children's Theatre Foundation of America. Her play Edward,
the Owl, and the Calico Cat is published by
Dramatic Publishing. Her original
script The Mythical Meeting of Mays & Terese was developed at The New
Harmony Project and premiered at Bloomington Playwrights' Project. Becoming Brontë was selected
and for the National Playwright's Festival and the Austin Critic's
Table Awards and recieved multiple productions. She holds an MFA in playwriting from
the University of Texas where she was a James A. Michener Fellow,
and a BFA in acting from Goodman School of Drama/The Theatre School,
DePaul University.
