With expertise in the performing arts and education, Emily has helped create partnerships between non-profit organizations and education agencies. Her work has:
- helped to produce over 400 performing arts and education events
- helped to raise over 8.3 million dollars in cash and in-kind gifts for arts and education programs and endowements
- directed and managed programs that enriched over 2 million adults and children with high quality arts and education experiences
She has:
- 11 years of upper level experience managing arts and education programs
- 10 years of teaching experience from prekindergarten to post graduate level
- 4 years of editorial and publishing experience
Special areas of interest include at-risk and disadvantaged youth, cultural diversity, disability rights, theatre, multi-disciplinary performance, special education, early childhood, literacy, and creative writing.
Emily is available for:
- grant writing (from research to reporting)
- sponsorship and corporate solicitation package copy and design
- annual fund campaign copy and design
- electronic or print newsletter and website copy
- media scripts (television and radio public service announcements, instructional videos)
- program planning and evaluation services
- professional development training for staff
- board development including meeting facilitation and retreats
Rates range from $50 an hour for planning and writing to $400 a day for training and meeting facilitation. Will travel ourside Central Texas at actual cost (hotel and airfare or .38 cents a mile plus $25/day per diem). Expenses may be charged for some projects. The first two hours of consultation time is free and a written estimate and timeline will be provided for each specific task proposed. All possible conflicts of interest will be disclosed prior to acceptance of a consulting contract. Emily reserves the right not to accept a proposed assignment. Short and long term projects are welcome, rush service may be available for an additional fee.
